Already have your Private Pilot License...?  Looking to take the next step...? Join Springs Aviation's Instrument Pilot Ground School!

Throughout your instrument training, you will learn to fly in the clouds with no reference to the ground or horizon.  The class will focus on a variety of subjects including flight instrument systems, departure, enroute, and area charts, VOR, NDB, ILS, and RNAV approaches, weather conditions and much much more. 

Instructed by two of our instructors, Frank Magnussen and Paul Lenehan, our course goes through every lesson required to pass the F.A.A. Written Exam. A passing score of 70% is needed to obtain your Instrument rating. You will have 2.5 hours to complete the test of 60 questions. The cost of all FAA Lasergrade tests has gone up to $150. You can take the test at anytime. It is not necessary to take it during the course. 

Class sessions will go for twelve weeks. If you miss a particular lecture, you can always take it the next time around. The Ground School is in constant rotation, so it will not be long before you can take a missed class.

Don't want to take the whole course...no problem. You are welcome to attend individual classes if desired.
