Training Program

The first step in our program is the Intake. We sit down and discuss your personal situation. How fast do you wish to complete your training? What is your work schedule? What days are best to fly? What are your financial considerations? And other relevant information that will help us help you through the process.

Once we determine your criteria, we then can best decide your course of ground and flight training.

With our large pool of flight instructors we pair the student with an instructor that we feel meets the timing and personality of the students’ schedule and demeanor. In addition we assign a secondary instructor that provides stages checks for ground and flight, and also allows for providing instruction on days of scheduling conflicts. After each ground and flight lesson, notes are taken for each maneuver and ground topic, that allows another instructor to evaluate the student’s strengths and required areas of improvement.

Springs Aviation offers an on-going separate Private Ground School Course. This is an option that allows students to reduce their costs for Ground School Training, allows for better understanding of the ground material, allows for discussion and interaction with other students, and assists the student in completing the required F.A.A. written and oral exam.

At our school, we provide learning aids, videos and practice tests at our location for our students at no charge. In addition, for a reduced charge students can make use of our Computer Aided Training Device.

Most importantly, we consider flight training a very serious matter. We work hard to train and keep our students safe. However we also feel that the training process can be fun, and we work hard to insure that students enjoy themselves as well. Come visit us and see for yourself.
